The Bonham's Spacious Junior Suite
Do you need to book a spacious, well-facilitated room in Edinburgh in a hotel that’s just steps away from some of the city’s finest attractions? If so, the Junior Suites at The Bonham will be perfect for you. Our Junior Suites are ideal for those who wish to stay in luxury whilst exploring the city. Each of the suites comes complete with a comfortable seating area and offers spectacular views over the city towards the Firth of Forth, Fife and further afield.
The height of hospitality
You’ll also gain access to an elegant bathroom, with most of the Junior Suites coming complete with a separate shower stall and a generously sized bath. We can also assist you if you’re looking for a King room.
Upon entering your Junior Suite, you’ll encounter a welcome tray, which includes a range of breakfast, Earl Grey and fruit teas, luxurious hot chocolate and delicious shortbread - all from our local partner, Brodies of Edinburgh. You can also enjoy a Segafredo Coffee Machine, a mini-fridge, and a bottle of chilled water from a leading local source.
Your home from home
Let The Bonham be your home from home as you drift off on a Hypnos mattress before enjoying a rainfall shower in the morning and freshening up with After the Rain: Arran Sense of Scotland toiletries. Stay connected during your stay thanks to multiple USB charging points and keep your goods secure with the laptop-sized safe. You can also rest assured that we do all we can to keep you safe during your stay whilst the pandemic is still occurring.
A hub of contentment
When you stay at The Bonham, you’ll also gain access to the tranquil Drumsheugh Gardens, which are ideal for escaping the bustle of the city for an hour or so before or after exploring the very best of what it has to offer. Our popular restaurant, the No. 35 at The Bonham, is noted for its distinctive blend of Scottish cuisine and European fare, fusing the modern with the classic.
We’re also proud to be one of the city’s most popular venues for weddings, business meetings and get-togethers between friends and families. Admire the charming interiors of the original 19th-century building at the peaceful, warmly welcoming bar and study the gorgeous architectural features including detailed cornicing, stonework, carved doorframes, and wooden panelling.
The long history of The Bonham
In the past, the building has been used as a private residence, halls of residence and a maternity centre before opening as one of the city’s first boutique hotels back in the late 1990s. Many ‘Bonham babies’ still return to the hotel to visit the place where they first came into the world.
Another big draw is the fact that you’ll just be a few minutes away from leading Edinburgh attractions like the luxury restaurants, bars and boutiques of George Street as well as the exciting retail hub of Princess Street during your stay. The Old Town, with its historic courtyards, alleyways, and cobbled streets, is just a 20-minute walk away. It is also home to the prestigious Royal Mile, which links the seat of Edinburgh Castle with the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
