TRAVEL SAFE POST COVID-19 - The Bonham Hotel
We have introduced a wide range of enhanced cleaning and safety measures to ensure our guests can enjoy the luxurious surroundings of The Bonham with complete peace of mind. We have worked with industry leaders, Common Sense Compliance, on a host of cleaning and guest protocols. From check-in to bedrooms, to restaurant and bar you can be sure we have looked carefully at every area.
We are committed to be a business that is a safe place to work, stay and visit.
To reach and maintain this commitment we have implement the following measures:
- Enhanced cleaning and sanitising regimes
- Provision of additional hand washing facilities and sanitising stations
- Social distancing measures implemented
- Covid-19 illness procedures for staff, guests and contractors
- Regular temperature checks for staff
- Paid stay-at-home policy for staff with symptoms
- All linens sanitized in high-temperature wash
- Enhanced provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Contactless Check-In & Check-Out available
- Doctors available 24/7
- Individually wrapped toiletries
- Delivering a certified Covid-19 staff training program
- An ongoing review and verification of our procedures by our environmental Health Partners Common Sense Compliance Ltd.
Alongside these measures we are also going a step further by redesigning our public spaces to allow for social distancing guidelines, as well as working on ideas that will allow us to deliver some outstanding customer service during these difficult times.
Some of the ideas include - an in-room dining experience; if the weather is right - a picnic experience across in Drumsheugh Gardens; and offering family deals that include a private dining room.
Some of the changes that we are putting in place will, at times, will make our service feel and look different to what we are all used, in fact it will be especially difficult for ourselves - a lot of us have built (or a building) a career around providing world class service to our patrons. However, we are seeing it as a challenge! An opportunity to be more creative, and if possible do something a little different to what has been done before.
Reminding ourselves, yes we are a business, but we're not in the business of selling rooms - we're selling experiences!
My colleagues and I are ready to step up to the challenge and see this as an opportunity to find new and interesting ways to go the extra mile for our guests! Creating memorable experiences for everyone that walks through our door.
